Crews reconstructed the approaches to Snavely Bridge in the southwest part of Benton County.
Snavely Bridge, which crosses Osage Creek, is back open to traffic after crews closed the structure on September 9th. Benton County crews closed the bridge this fall and reinforced the approaches to the bridge with concrete walls. These improvements are designed to keep the road intact during flooding and expedite reopening of the bridge after floodwaters recede. This project was funded by FEMA hazard mitigation funds.
